Okay, real talk — Spivak's Calculus is not for the faint of heart. This book will make you EARN every theorem. But if you want to actually understand WHY calculus works instead of just memorizing formulas, there's nothing better. Jim spent entire weekends wrestling with these proofs, but came out the other side a genuinely better mathematical thinker. It's a rite of passage for serious math students. Four worms — beautiful but brutal.
