Born to survivalists in the mountains of Idaho, Tara Westover was seventeen the first time she set foot in a classroom. Jim's Review

Jim's jaw was on the ground for most of this book. Tara's story is so wild it reads like fiction, but it's painfully real. The transformation from a girl who'd never seen a classroom to a Cambridge PhD is nothing short of extraordinary. It'll make you grateful for every book you've ever held. A must-read memoir.
