Jim's Review

🐛
Stephen Graham Jones writes horror that cuts deep on multiple levels — there's the surface scares (and they are SCARY), but underneath is a profound meditation on cultural identity and the cost of assimilation. Nothing prepares you for the basketball chapter. Worms don't even have legs, and that scene is enough to make one want to run. Jones is the real deal, and this book deserves every bit of acclaim it's received.
