Jim's Review

🐛
Written in 1926, this little book is the original "pay yourself first" manifesto, dressed up as a series of Babylonian parables. The rules are ancient and embarrassingly simple: save 10% of everything you earn, invest it wisely, live below your means, and let compound interest do the heavy lifting. They're embarrassingly simple because they work. A finance degree is no substitute for these basics. The parable format makes the rules stick — "Arkad's Seven Cures for a Lean Purse" reads like fortune-cookie wisdom but is built to stick. Four worms. Buy a copy for every teenager you know.
