Jim's Review

🐛
Hannibal Lecter is one of the most terrifying characters on any page — and he's barely in the book. Harris does more with a few scenes of polite conversation than most authors do with entire chapters of violence. Clarice Starling is a phenomenal protagonist, and their intellectual sparring is bated-breath stuff. The basement scene? Pure tunnel-out-of-the-room terror. Flawless thriller.
