Jim's Review
🐛
Reid takes her talent for glamorous, behind-the-scenes worlds into orbit. The training-years chapters are packed with period detail about the shuttle program and the people inside it, and the slow-building romance between Joan and Vanessa is tender and believable. The mission-in-crisis framing adds real suspense, though the jumps between timelines can feel engineered. Four worms — a big-hearted love story with a countdown clock.
