Jim's Review
🐛
This book is absolutely electric — the Yoruba-inspired magic system is unlike anything else on the shelf. Adeyemi writes action sequences that are wriggle-worthy and emotional beats that gut you. Zelie is a force of nature. The worldbuilding is lush and the stakes are enormous. Four thundering worms.
